On April 6, 2007, the Picture Balata exhibition opened at the Brecht Forum, sponsored by Al-Awda NY. The exhibition featured the work of young Palestinian photographers in Balata refugee camp, organized through a program coordinated by photographer and Palestine solidarity activist Matthew Cassel.
