COME HEAR AMANY KHALIFA, ACTIVIST AND ORGANIZER WITH GRASSROOTS JERUSALEM.

Amany is visiting NYC to deepen bonds and links with folks interested in the current situation of Jerusalem and otherwise doing work organizing work around Palestine. Specifically, Amany will describe the layers of Palestinian disempowerment beginning with the militaristic and economic, through the bureaucratic and at last the benevolent international NGO colonialist project. It’s not all bad news, though. She will also share news of the growing grassroots movement to confront the occupation and reclaim Jerusalem as the Palestinian capital.

Joining her will be speakers from event co-sponsors Al-Awda NY: The Palestine Right to Return Coalition, Direct Action Front for Palestine, and Jews for Palestinian Right of Return

Refreshments will be provided!
