Bush, other war criminals and selected representatives are trying to
crush the resistance of the Palestinian People with such propaganda like “road
map” to peace. The “road map” will not lead to any peace but in fact to more
destruction. We refuse to allow the Zionist Entity to higher it’s level of
apartheid and genocide, while calling it “the road map”.

Dr. Adel Samara is a Palestinian scholar/writer. He is one of the most important Palestinian Economists.He wrote a wide variety of books and articles, mainly on the Palestinian Economy under occupation, women vs. Capital, right of return, and his latest book on Globalization. He is also the chief editor of Kanaan journal. He has been arrested multiple times by Jordan, Israel and the Palestinian Authority for his stands and criticism. He is currently in a tour in North America and England, touring more than 12 cities.

Hany Khalil coordinates Racial Justice 9-11, a national network of people of color against the war, and works with the anti-war paper War Times. An Arab American, he has eleven years’ experience in anti-war, labor, and community organizing. He holds a B.A. from Brown University and an M.A. in Urban Planning from UCLA. He recently co-authored “Frequently Asked Questions: Should the U.S. Invade Iraq?” in the October 2002 issue of War Times. (See www.war-times.org)

February 15 will be an international day of actions to oppose a war with Iraq. Hundreds of thousands or millions of people will march in cities around the world. “The World Says No to War.”

There are many groups supporting this march, please help Al-awda New York & New Jersey by showing your support. Wear your Al-awda T-shirts, keffiyehs, and bring your flags and drums. This historic Rally will be held at First Ave & 49th Street.

To present the work of Palestinians who received art therapy and give the audience an art therapy lesson.

Will present a short documentary of a Palestinian artist’s journey to Baghdad
DABKA GROUP
Palestinian dance group will perform the dabka, a traditional Palestinian group dance and if time permits, will also give a lesson.
ART EXHIBIT
In the backdrop is exhibited the work of fifty Palestinian artists. Each piece tells a story of exile as does each artist, speaking to the determination of the human spirit to preserve its culture and existence under the most horrific conditions.
