Palestinian Land Daycommemorates the day of March 30, 1976 when Israeli military forces shot and killed six young Palestinian citizens of Israel as they protested the Israeli government’s expropriation of Palestinian land.

On this day we also celebrate our legitimate rights: We celebrate our right to self-determination by remembering our heroes, we celebrate our right to live freely in our land by remembering the prisoners imprisoned for freedom, and we celebrate our right to live by celebrating Palestinian mothers, celebrating Palestinian children and celebrating the reason for all other celebrations: we celebrate Palestine.
